As I mentioned at the beginning, there are several factors that influence achieving smooth prints, but today we will see a tool in Chitubox essential for this objective.

Chitubox has a very interesting function that can make a difference in the quality of your 3D printed resin models called anti-aliasing. Before we dive into this key feature, I can't overemphasize the importance of having the resin profile properly established, particularly as it relates to exposure time.

What is anti-aliasing and how does it allow you to obtain smooth prints?

When we talk about laminating models in Chitubox, we are creating the information that the 3D printer will interpret in the form of layers. And this is where this comes into play. key function:  Anti-Aliasing.

This tool is found in the advanced tab and when activated, it softens the edges of the layers, providing a more uniform and detailed finish to the prints.
